To mark the National Kidney Month in March, Homewell Care Services Delaware has partnered with the National Kidney Foundation, which serves Maryland and Delaware, compiled 400 care packages for residents of Sussex County who are living and dialyzed with kidney disease.

The packages were taken to several local dialysis centres, where staff distributed them to patients.

“All items in the care package can help manage kidney disease or make it easier to withstand longer dialysis treatments,” said Will Childrens, owner of Homewell Care Services Delaware. “Only a few examples include water bottles, recipes, headphones, arm sleeves, activities and a colouring book.”
