Arshdeep Singh, the son of an army soldier, died in a road accident earlier this month, but he saved six lives after his father Havildar Naresh Kumar of Mahar Regiment decided to donate his son's organs. Ta.
On February 8th, 18-year-old Arshdeep Singh was seriously injured in a traffic accident and died of injuries. Faced with unimaginable sadness, Havilder Kumar agreed to donate his son's liver, kidneys, pancreas and cornea, giving his critically ill patients a second life.
On February 16th, his liver and kidneys were transported to research and referrals at the Army Hospital in New Delhi through a green corridor. The kidneys and pancreas went to patients fighting life-threatening type diabetes with chronic kidney disease in PGI Chandigarh.
The cornea was preserved to restore vision to people in need.

The Army said that Havildar Naresh Kumar's sacrifice was not only a testament to his grit and resilience, but also an inspiration. His selflessness encourages many to consider organ donation, and proves that they can bring light to others' lives in the face of personal loss.
