Can Alzheimer’s disease be transmitted from person to person through common medical procedures? This condition does not follow medical orthodoxy, which states that it is caused by a buildup of proteins in the brain.

However, a controversial idea posits that these proteins could be passed from person to person through means such as bone marrow transplants, organ transplants, or even blood transfusions.
