The parents of a five-year-old girl who died after a swing wrapped around her neck say they take comfort in knowing part of her lives lived on and helped save a life.
Aurora Masters died earlier this month after becoming entangled in a swing set while playing outside her Fort Collins home, her great-aunt previously said. Fox affiliate KDVR-TV.

“We know Aurora's heart is beating somewhere,” Crystal said, with her husband, Tom, adding, “Knowing that really helps.”
Crystal told KUSA that Aurora had been outside for less than 15 minutes on May 8 when a neighbor told her something was wrong.
“I saw my daughter in a tree with a swing around her neck,” her mother explained.

“I'm so proud of my daughter,” Crystal told KUSA. “I was already so proud, but she just keeps giving.”
In a series of GoFundMe updates, family members remembered Aurora as a “ray of sunshine” and with the “bravery of a ninja.”
The loved one added: “Our hearts are broken, but we continue our journey to honour and celebrate her gifts on earth.”
