Since its founding in June 2021, the group has helped hundreds find living donors through its “Together Towards Transplant Program.” The program, which includes monthly meetings at locations like Montgomery Community Church, offers a personalized, step-by-step plan to launch living donor campaigns and provides seminars for sharing health journeys.
Notably, 70% of participants have successfully found living donors.
Terry Ross, a 62-year-old Blue Ash native diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease in 2021, praised the group for its support.

“There are a lot of times you’re sitting there by yourself, especially in dialysis, and you’re like, when is this going to happen for me? Because it’s been a long time,” Ross said. “It means a lot to me because it gives you strength to keep going on.”
Currently, 80 people are enrolled in the program. Ross hopes that spreading awareness will not only help him find a donor but also provide support for others in similar situations.
The group’s next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31. If you would like to register for the program or get involved, click here.
