Los Angeles County, California – A beauty store worker is fighting for her life in hospital after being viciously attacked by a group of suspected robbers in Commerce.

Marlene Sandoval, 32, tried to stop a group of suspects from robbing the M Beauty store on Whittier Boulevard on Wednesday, March 6. A group of women targeted Sandoval’s store and began violently attacking her, pulling her by the hair and throwing her to the ground.

FOX 11 spoke with Marlene’s father, Enrique Sandoval, outside the hospital on March 12.

“Those girls have no respect for humans,” Enrique Sandoval said of the group of women who attacked his daughter.

The attack occurred when Marlene Sandoval tried to stop the looting of her business. Marine is currently in the ICU and in dire need of a heart transplant.
